BYPASS OF UNTREATED WASTEWATER

The City of Henderson’s Sewer Collection System bypassed approximately 43,250 gallons of untreated water on July 7, 2021, due to inflow/infiltration from heavy rain.  The overflows occurred at Sandy Creek Pump Station, Martin Creek Pump Station and two manholes including Neatherly Street and Beckford Drive outfall.  Approximately 43,250 gallons of untreated water entered a tributary to Sandy Creek and Nutbush Creek.
